RACKABLE SYSTEMS WINS PRODUCT EXCELLENCE AWARD
AT LINUXWORLD 2004 IN SAN FRANCISCO

-- New Scale Out Server Series Named Most Innovative Hardware Solution --

LINUXWORLD 2004, SAN FRANCISCO, August 5, 2004 - Rackable Systems, Inc., a leading provider of large-scale data center server solutions, has been awarded the 2004 LinuxWorld Conference & Expo Product Excellence Award for Most Innovative Hardware Solution. The award honors Rackable Systems' new Scale Out Server Series, an open architecture server design providing higher density and compute power using industry-standard components and leading thermal management solutions.
